Customer Complaint

The vehicle had a lack of power, the check engine light was on, and it was in limp mode.

Problem Summary

Fault codes P2463 (Diesel Particulate Filter – Soot Accumulation) and P246C (Diesel Particulate Filter Restriction – Derate) were present. These codes returned immediately after clearing. The DPF was removed and cleaned, but soot load remained at 200% on the scan tool. A forced regeneration could not be performed, as the scan tool displayed a communication error. DPF pressure sensor readings showed 0 kPa at idle.
