The vehicle suffered from difficult starting and rough running. Replacement of the injectors resolved the main drivability issue, but attempts to perform a fuel pilot learn and pump learn were unsuccessful. The engine hunted at idle, preventing a stable condition for learning, and the pump learn would only progress through the first stage without reaching the permanent stage. Fuel pressure values matched the desired readings, but the system would not complete the relearn process.
