The engine starts and idles but there is no response from the accelerator pedal.

The vehicle would start normally but would not respond to throttle input. After clearing codes, the engine would run normally for around three seconds before behaving as though it had run out of fuel, eventually stalling after idling for about two minutes. Fault codes present were P0217 (coolant over temperature), P2191 (system too lean at higher load), and P2193 (system too lean at idle). The lean codes returned immediately after clearing.
