The customer reported that the engine light, hill descent control light, and VDC warning light were illuminated on the dash.

Despite the warning lights, the vehicle exhibited no abnormal driving symptoms. A scan revealed codes C1422 (VDC interrupted due to ECM problem) and C1424 (ECM abnormal) stored in the ABS/VDC module. These codes indicated a possible communication fault between the ECM and VDC system.
