The vehicle would not start, with the immobiliser key light not illuminating on the dash. Initially, cycling the ignition several times would bring the light on and allow starting, but the fault progressed until the light would not appear at all.

The engine was a no-start condition with immobiliser light inactive. Multiple unrelated fault codes were logged (P1391, P0380, P0106, P2227), but no immobiliser-specific faults were present. Communication with the PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System) module was not possible via scan tool.
