Customer Complaint

Park brake light (red) flashing and (amber) EPB light on.
Unable to disengage handbrake.

Problem Summary

Confirmed customers complaint.

Found customer could put into maintenance mode but would only initiate retraction of calliper pistons when lifting accelerator pedal? Normally the rear callipers would activate whilst the accelerator pedal remains depressed.

The vehicle's callipers only activate for less than two seconds? And upon ignition switch pressed and deactivate ignition the rear callipers reapply? Normally the ignition can be switched off to perform the brake pad replacement and the callipers will not reapply, this seems to not be maintenance mode.
