The customer reported that both remote keys had stopped working, even after replacement of the key batteries.

Neither of the remote keys would operate the vehicle functions. Initial suspicion was of a key transmission or receiver fault. However, further investigation showed that the remotes were transmitting correctly, pointing instead to a control module or system reset issue.
