The vehicle presented with engine knock, heavy black smoke, and stalling. The fault code P0192 for the fuel rail pressure sensor circuit low returned consistently after clearing. Live data consistently displayed 0 kPa rail pressure, despite scope testing showing rail pressure sensor voltage signals ramping up as expected.
