The customer reported that the problem began when the fuel level in the tank got very low. The vehicle now has no power during acceleration and takes too long to pick up speed. A previous shop had already replaced the diesel filter and exhaust temperature sensor with no improvement.

The vehicle had severe lack of power under load with “Traction Control” and “VDC OFF” warning lights illuminated. Multiple diagnostic checks initially pointed towards timing issues, fueling problems, or air metering faults. Despite extensive testing and component replacements, the vehicle continued to suffer from poor acceleration.
