Air conditioning was not cutting in. This was a Focus with the 1.6 litre FYJA engine.

The owner had only recently bought the car and didn’t know much of the history.

They just turned the A/C on and there was no cold air. The fan speeds and all the modes worked fine.

They had not noticed any other symptoms with the car. They left it with me to start investigating.
