The customer reported that multiple dash warning lights were on, with no power and no speedometer operation when the fault occurred. The vehicle would start in limp mode with no drive and no throttle response. When codes were cleared, the engine started and revved normally with no codes. However, upon selecting drive, the engine would lose power, the throttle would stop responding, and all dash warnings returned immediately. Reverse gear operated normally with normal power.

The vehicle consistently entered limp mode when drive was selected, with ABS, traction control, and emissions warning lights illuminating. Multiple fault codes relating to CAN communication, vehicle speed signal, and VCT solenoids were present. Investigation revealed a broken right-hand engine mount causing excessive engine movement under load, likely stressing wiring harness connections. Additionally, the vehicle had known VCT faults due to a broken cam gear tooth, with the owner having disconnected cam sensors prior to the visit.
