Rough idle, poor acceleration, and lack of speed.

Engine was running roughly at idle with symptoms similar to a misfire. Performance was poor up to around 2000 rpm, where it smoothed out slightly. Fault code P0263 – Cylinder 1 Contribution/Balance was active and could not be erased until the battery was disconnected, but returned immediately upon restart.
