The dash cluster backlighting turns off when the headlights are turned on, and turns on when the headlights are turned off. Pressing the horn button causes the cluster lights to reverse behaviour from whatever state they are in.

The customer reported that the dash and button backlighting operated in the opposite way to normal, leaving the dash unreadable at night. Additionally, the radio volume would adjust on its own and the horn did not operate, although pressing the horn button caused the dash lights to change brightness.
