Customer Complaint

Vehicle goes into limp mode most mornings after approximately five minutes of driving. After switching the engine off and restarting a few minutes later, the vehicle runs normally for the rest of the day.

Problem Summary

Intermittent limp mode condition occurring only during the first drive cycle of the day. When scanned immediately after limp mode activation, a turbo boost control position sensor circuit fault was logged. When scanned later, only an EGR system performance code was present. Multiple glow plug circuit faults (cylinders 2, 4, and 5) were stored and consistently returned, but did not appear related to the limp mode.
