Problem Summary

After an engine replacement, the vehicle would crank but not fire. Injector operation was not occurring, and no RPM signal was present on the scan tool during cranking. Fuel pressure was normal, and no active engine DTCs were logged. A single communication fault code B0007 – “No engine request received” appeared only in the BCM when scanned with a Tech 2, and it would not clear.
