Customer Complaint

Air conditioning not operating correctly.

Problem Summary

Air conditioning system produced inconsistent cooling performance. Vent temperature fluctuated between 11–14°C while driving. At idle, pressures were 31 psi low side and 200 psi high side with no clutch cycling and vent temperature steady at 12°C. When engine speed was raised to 1500 rpm, compressor cycled rapidly and system pressures changed to 25 psi low and 230 psi high, with vent temperature around 11–12°C. Additional airflow across the condenser improved vent temperature slightly to 8°C and reduced cycling, but performance remained inconsistent.
