Customer Complaint

Left-hand tail lamp inoperative.

Problem Summary

Left-hand tail lamp was not working. Tail lamp circuit would operate when power was supplied to the loom before the rear connector, which indicated the lamp assembly and rear section of loom could operate, and the fault was upstream. Trailer wiring was disconnected and earth checked good, with no corrosion found. The root cause was wiring damage at the front body connector area, with a broken wire in the loom.
