The temperature gauge stops working intermittently while driving.

Problem Summary

When the vehicle stops and restarts, it works fine.

The owner thought the engine light may have come on as well, but wasn’t completely sure. There didn’t seem to be any other symptoms that she was aware of.

Further questioning revealed that the vehicle had a second hand engine fitted recently by her mechanic. He couldn’t help her with this problem and suggested she bring it to us.
