Vehicle originally presented with fault code P0A80 – Replace Hybrid Battery Pack, and a battery state of health reading of 36%. After fitting a reconditioned hybrid battery pack, the hybrid issue was resolved. However, after the repair and test drive, all ABS and brake warning lights illuminated, and the scan tool reported fault code U0073 – Control Module Communication Bus Off in the Electronic Regenerative Braking System (ERBS) module.

Following hybrid battery replacement, all braking-related warning lights illuminated, and communication fault U0073 was logged in the ERBS. Despite clearing attempts, the code initially would not erase. Further investigation revealed additional codes appearing as the diagnosis continued, including C1345 – Linear Solenoid Valve (unlearned), B108E – Audio display fault, U0515 – Invalid data received from Remote Function Actuation module, and later P0517 – Battery Temperature Sensor Circuit High. These codes were likely secondary to power and initialisation issues after the hybrid and 12V system work..
