After intake decoke and battery failure during the first start-up, the engine light was on, and the vehicle was in limp mode.

The engine previously had no running faults prior to the intake decoke procedure. Following reassembly, the battery collapsed on the initial start attempt. The battery was recharged and failed again, then replaced with a new unit. The engine started immediately, but the check engine light remained on, and the vehicle entered limp mode.
