Fault code B1407 stored in the SRS module relating to the Passenger Presence Detection (PPD) sensor circuit communication error. The PPD sensor is a three-wire sensor (positive, negative, and signal) located in the passenger seat that detects occupant presence for airbag deployment strategy. Live data showed no resistance issues across SRS circuits except the driver second stage squib reading 15 ohms. The B1407 code did not return after clearing, suggesting an intermittent fault in the passenger presence detection circuit.
