The vehicle had no power and suffered from an erratic engine idle.

The vehicle presented with a loss of power under load, a misfire under load, a detonation noise under load, and an erratic engine idle. No check engine light was illuminated. Rocker cover gaskets, all spark plugs and the cylinder 2 ignition coil had previously been replaced, but the loss of power and rough running remained evident.
