The engine had a misfire at idle, with the engine shaking and running rough on acceleration.

The vehicle arrived with a heavy misfire. Moving the connector at the ignition module changed the misfire, which is a known issue on these vehicles, so a new connector and pins were fitted. After the connector repair the engine started and ran, but a mild misfire on cylinder 5 remained, present at idle and under load but clearing as engine speed increased.
