A system communication warning appeared on the dash.

The warning started after the battery was disconnected during a sump reseal. The vehicle still ran and drove, but the cooling fans ran from startup and the air conditioning changed from cold to warm when the warning appeared. The scan tool could not communicate with the parking assist module.

Ignition coils and spark plugs had been replaced months earlier for a misfire, with no communication faults before the sump repair.
