Customer Complaint

The engine stalled intermittently, hot or cold. Switching the ignition off for a second allowed it to restart.

Problem Summary

The van could run for days between faults. A fuel rail pressure sensor, batteries, EGR valve, camshaft sensor, fuel metering valve and ECU had been replaced during the investigation, but the stalling continued. Replacing the wiring between the ECU and fuel rail pressure sensor also made no difference.
