The vehicle was referred from another workshop because the powertrain control module (PCM) was intermittently waking up with the ignition off.

With the doors closed and the vehicle left to sleep, the throttle, EGR and turbo actuators began operating after approximately 10 minutes. They stopped for a few minutes, then the cycle repeated.
