The gearbox intermittently selected Neutral while driving and would not re-engage a gear. After stopping and waiting about five minutes, cycling the ignition allowed the car to drive again.

This Fiat used the Dualogic automated manual gearbox. The fault could leave it without drive in either automatic or manual mode. Replacing a battery that failed a load test did not prevent the gearbox fault returning.
