Customer Complaint

Started to hunt while driving.

Problem Summary

The owner did web search and decided to replace the PPS (pedal position sensor) switch.

It started off fine and was driven for about an hour, but then the system went into limp mode and would not go over 1500 RPM.

The vehicle went to a Nissan dealer where, over a few days, the system was reset.

The same problem reoccurred a number of times so their solution was to replace the throttle body and the PPS switch.

The owner was told that if these parts didn't fix the problem, he would be up for a new ECU.

The owner had the vehicle towed from the dealership to a TaT workshop, a distance of 200 kms.
