Code Information

The Traction Control Disable Lamp is an instrument cluster indicator that illuminates when traction control is switched off or disabled by a fault. On Ford applications the lamp control circuit is driven by the ABS or instrument cluster module, which pulls the circuit to ground to light the lamp. DTC C1105 sets when the module detects battery voltage on the lamp control circuit at a time when it is not commanding the lamp on, indicating the wire has shorted to a power feed.
