Code Information

Some vehicles, particularly trucks and commercial vehicles, use a two speed rear axle that can be shifted between a high and a low ratio. A dash mounted input switch tells the control module which ratio is selected so the module can correct vehicle speed and odometer calculations. DTC C1150 sets when the module detects that the two speed rear axle input switch circuit is shorted to battery voltage (Vbatt), producing a constant high signal that does not change when the switch is operated.
