Code Information

The air suspension control module operates the front inflator solenoid to admit compressed air into the front air springs, raising or levelling the vehicle as commanded by the ride height sensors. DTC C1848 sets when the module detects that the front inflator solenoid output circuit has shorted to ground, meaning the controlled side of the circuit is being pulled low outside the expected switching pattern.
