Code Information

The Ford air suspension control module monitors a master cylinder brake pressure signal so it can suspend ride height levelling while the vehicle is braking, preventing unwanted air spring adjustments during a stop. DTC C1849 sets when the module reads a master cylinder pressure value that falls outside the expected calibrated range, either too high, too low, or otherwise implausible for the current driving conditions.
