Code Information

The air suspension system uses a right front ride height sensor to report the vehicle corner height to the air suspension control module. DTC C1884 sets when the module detects that the right front height sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground, meaning the signal voltage is held at or near zero volts instead of varying with suspension travel. The height sensor reports corner position so the module can add or vent air to keep the vehicle level, so a grounded signal makes the module read an invalid height and disable automatic leveling.
