Code Information

The climate control module monitors the foot mode servo motor through bidirectional motor drive lines and a position feedback signal from an internal potentiometer. DTC B1264 is set when the module commands the servo to move the foot mode door but fails to see the expected feedback voltage change, sees an out of range value on the feedback line, or detects an electrical short or open on the motor command circuit. The foot mode servo physically rotates the foot vent door inside the HVAC case, and the module relies on potentiometer feedback to confirm the door has reached the commanded position....
