DTC B1367 is set by the Body Control Module when it detects a fault on the ignition tach signal circuit. The tach signal is a square wave generated by the powertrain control module or ignition module that pulses with each ignition event, allowing the BCM and instrument cluster to display engine speed and to enable speed dependent body functions such as auto door lock, intermittent wiper logic, and antitheft cranking authority.
