Code Information

The illuminated entry system uses a relay, switched by the Body Control Module (BCM), to power the interior courtesy and map lights when the vehicle is unlocked, when a door is opened, or when the keyless entry remote is used. DTC B1373 is set when the BCM detects battery voltage on the relay control circuit when the relay should be off, indicating a short to battery on the drive line or load line back to the BCM.
