B1374 is a manufacturer-specific body diagnostic trouble code. It belongs to the B-prefix family of codes, which covers body, interior, airbag, or comfort-electronics faults.
When B1374 is stored, the module has detected a short-circuit (voltage pulled to ground or to supply) in the monitored circuit.
Scanning & clearing: Body (B) codes are often stored in the body control module, airbag module, or climate module. A basic OBD-II tool usually will not read body codes — an enhanced or OEM-level scan tool is typically required.

The illuminated entry system uses a relay, switched by the Body Control Module (BCM), to provide power to the interior courtesy and map lights when the vehicle is unlocked, when a door is opened, or when the keyless entry remote is activated. DTC B1374 is set when the BCM detects an unintended path to ground on the relay control circuit, which can either pull the relay coil drive line low when it should be high, or cause the relay to remain energised continuously depending on whether the BCM uses high side or low side switching.
