Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) or Door Control Module (DCM) monitors the driver power window motor circuit and sets B1413 when it detects an unintended path to ground on the motor command line. The driver window motor is normally energised by switching battery voltage to one of two motor terminals through the master switch or module driver, with the opposite terminal pulled to ground to complete the circuit.
