Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) or door control module monitors the output driver circuit that controls the right direction movement of the passenger side outside mirror motor. DTC B1644 is set when the module commands the mirror to move in the right direction and detects an open circuit on that output, meaning current is not flowing through the motor winding as expected.
