The Restraints Control Module (RCM), or Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) module, monitors a driver seat occupancy input to determine whether the driver seat is occupied. DTC B1675 is set when the RCM detects that the driver seat occupied input circuit is shorted to ground, meaning the input line is being pulled to 0V or near 0V regardless of seat occupancy.
