Code Information

DTC B2165 sets when the body control module or related body system module detects an out of range, implausible, or invalid gear shift position signal. The body system uses gear selector PRNDL information for functions such as reverse light supply, interior courtesy light enable, drive away door lock, infotainment menu lockout while moving, and parking brake interlock.
