The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) control module continuously monitors the integrity of the driver airbag deployment loops to confirm they remain ready to fire and have no electrical faults. DTC B2232 sets when the SRS module detects that the second deployment loop (Loop #2) of the driver airbag is open circuit, meaning the squib circuit is broken somewhere between the module and the airbag igniter.
