Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) controls the park lamp circuit by driving an output relay, which in turn switches battery voltage to the front and rear park lamps, side marker lamps, and license plate lamps. DTC B2251 sets when the BCM detects a circuit failure on its park lamp relay driver output, including open circuit, short to ground, short to battery, or unexpected feedback voltage when the relay is commanded on or off.
