The Body Control Module (BCM) controls the park lamp relay by switching the coil low side to ground. The BCM continuously monitors the control wire voltage and expects to see battery voltage when the relay is off and near zero volts when commanded on. DTC B2252 sets when the BCM detects an unexpected short to battery voltage condition on the park lamp relay driver output, meaning the control wire is held at B+ even when the BCM driver is commanded on.
