The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the right front high beam lamp circuit through a current sense or feedback line on the output driver. DTC B2507 is set when the BCM detects an out of range condition on the right front high beam lamp circuit, typically either an open circuit indicating a failed bulb or harness fault, or a short to power or ground. The high beam lamp is controlled by the BCM through either a direct low side driver or via a high beam relay, depending on the vehicle.
