Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the right rear turn lamp circuit each time the indicator stalk is activated to confirm the lamp is operating correctly. DTC B2535 is set when the BCM detects a circuit failure on the right rear turn lamp output, such as an open circuit, short to ground, or current draw outside the expected range. The BCM uses current monitoring to detect a missing or low resistance bulb, which is also how it triggers the hyperflash bulb out warning seen by the driver.
