Code Information

The Body Control Module or driver door module monitors the reverse mirror tilt output circuit and uses internal current sense to detect short conditions on the smart driver. DTC B2568 is set when the module detects that the reverse mirror output is being pulled to chassis ground while commanded off, or that excessive current flow occurs when the output is energised, both of which indicate a short to ground in the wiring, the mirror tilt motor, or one of the connectors.
