Code Information

This DTC is stored by the Restraints Control Module, or RCM, when it cannot communicate with the passenger side crash sensor over its dedicated non SCP link. This impact sensor sits in the passenger side front or door and pillar structure and feeds early crash data to the RCM so it can make correct airbag and pretensioner deployment decisions on that side. The code sets when the sensor fails to respond, returns invalid data, or the circuit develops a fault.
