When P1115 is stored, the module has detected a signal or supply voltage higher than the expected operating range.

Code Information

The P1115 code is set when the PCM sees the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor B signal voltage above the normal operating range. Because the IAT sensor is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor, its signal voltage rises as air temperature falls, so a high input corresponds to an implausibly cold indicated air temperature. This usually means an open circuit in the signal or ground wire, or a disconnected or failed sensor reading very high resistance, rather than the air genuinely being that cold.
