Code Information

The P1119 code sets when the PCM sees the Manifold Air Temperature (MAT) sensor signal voltage above the calibrated threshold for a valid reading. The MAT sensor is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor, so its signal voltage rises as the manifold air gets colder, and a high input corresponds to an implausibly cold indicated air temperature.
